FEAR NOT! GOD IS FAITHFUL, MOVE FORWARD
EXODUS 14:8-19
1 CORINTHIANS 10:13
Fear is a result of lack of assurance
(undependable situations, people that cannot be trusted etc.)
God had made 3,753 promises written in the bible according to Bible info.
These promises gave us assurance so we cannot live in fear.
WHY?
Because fear hinders the progress of every man which is contrary to God’s plan
Fear contains a man, the enemy of our progress
(Genesis 26:24)
ISRAEL’S FEAR
Israel’s fear came when they saw uncertainty (lack of assurance) behind them.
(Genesis 14:8)
It killed the boldness of Israelite's (Exodus 14:8, 10)
that leads them to complain (Exodus 14:11)
Israel was called GOD’s people but for 400 years in captivity they have not experienced on how to be it. They have forgotten about GOD and lived a life that is satisfied in EGYPT. So GOD allowed them to be under bondage (Exodus 2:23)

GOD IS FAITHFUL
1. Faithfulness is GOD’s attribute (2 Timothy 2:13) (2 Thessalonians 3:3) (Malachi 3:6)
-there are times we cannot see the faithfulness of God because of the situation; it is not how you see but what you expect of the outcome of your situation.
2. He is faithful on His promises (Hebrews 10:23)
-He is the Lord who promised Moses to bring them to promise land (Hebrews 23:19)
-Exodus 14:13
3. He is faithful on those he called (1 Thessalonians 5:24) (Matthew 28:20)
GOD’S PLAN FOR PROGRESS
1. God planned us to move forward (Exodus 14:15) (Proverbs 4:18)
-fear kills progress (Numbers 11:4-6) (Numbers 14:1-4)
-Job’s life
2. God orders (guides our steps) (Psalm 37:23)
-the proof that God plans our progress is that he guides our steps
-through that guidance, fear of the unknown is removed because of his leading
(Psalm 23:3)
-we must cooperate with GOD
